Jesus sent His Apostles forth in the name of the Blessed Trinity

"Jesus drew near and spoke to them saying, 'All power in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.  Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you...' "  (Matthew 28, 18-20)

This "Answers from Dad" podcast lesson is about The Unity and Trinity of God.  We will learn about the mystery of the Trinity.  There are three Persons in one God and that is truly a mystery.  We can't really understand this, but we do believe it because Jesus told us.  We call this mystery of three Persons in ONE God the "Blessed Trinity"  

It is mainly through the inspired pages of Sacred Scripture and the divinely guided actions of the Sacred Liturgy that we come to know the Person of Christ. The better we know and understand the Person of Christ, the more we will be able to understand the meaning of what He tells us. The Catechism helps us to understand the meaning of what Christ has taught, but we will understand the Catechism only to the extent that we aim at understanding Christ Himself.

This "Answers from Dad" podcast lesson is about The purpose of man's existence.  We will learn about the purpose of our life.  Why did God create us?  We read in the Holy Bible:

"I am the Good Shepherd, and I know Mine and Mine know Me"  (John 10,14)

"He who enters by the door is shepherd of the sheep.  To this man the gatekeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them forth..., and the sheep follow him because they know his voice"  (John 10, 2-4)

This movie is about Kevin Hines.  If you don't know of Kevin Hines:

At the age of 19, Kevin Hines attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. He still struggles with many of the same symptoms seventeen years later. Kevin is on a mission today to use his story to help others stay alive. He was also a key player in helping the 80 year old fight to construct a suicide prevention net on the Golden Gate Bridge. Suicide The Ripple Effect is a documentary film about Kevin's struggles and his inspiring message of hope and healing. 

There are at least one million suicide attempts each year in the U.S. and more than 40,000 deaths by suicide. Our military has been hit hard with this epidemic. 

For every one death by suicide, more than 115 people are directly affected and impacted. (The Ripple Effect)

Earth's Edge is a short film by Two Cj's Vids. We are on the edge of the earth, where lives of different creatures collide. We are at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in San Mateo County California. The Fitzgerald Marine Reserve was created in 1969 to protect hundreds of marine species. Scientists have discovered 25 new invertabrate and plant species while studying this area. The reserve is easily accessible from Highway 1 in Moss Beach, just north of Half Moon Bay California.
